Debi creates beautiful and immersive light installations where the audience is able to participant in a positive and moving visual experience. She likes the viewer to be able to move around, look through, and somehow develop a relationship with the work.

Debi’s work has been commissioned for Humber Street Sesh (Hull), Freedom Festival (Hull), FESPA Awards (Amsterdam), Index Design Series (Dubai), Light Night (Leeds), and The International Print Biennale (Newcastle upon Tyne) where her work was displayed alongside industry greats such as Kurt Schwitter.

Debi is 1 of 7 artists selected to participate in 'Light Lab', a residency programme for 'Light Up The North' Network - a collaboration of Light Festivals across the North of England with a wish to support emerging light artists.

Debi was also commissioned to create 1 of 5 sculptures for the ABP/SIEMENS Greenport public pathway in Hull, which has since gone on to receive a ‘Good Mark’ award from Hull Civic Society.

It is important that my artwork is accessible to all sections of a community beyond the constraints of a gallery or theatre space - a shared experience on as public a platform as possible.
